HONESTLY I'M TIRED OF THAT PLANET ROCK BEAT ON ALMOST ALL FREESTYLE TRAXS...THE ORIGINAL WAS AWESOME...BUT IT HAS BEEN USED SO MUCH THAT IT'S PLAYED OUT...MY OPINION...FREDDIE:shush :nono :sleep
 
This topic has been discussed many times before.

How about just accepting that everyone has a few freestyle songs they don't care for and leaving it at that.

No offense meant, just trying to stop a thread where we have people saying:

"You're crazy, that's a great song, now .....is a really bad song."

"No, that song is phat! A truly bad song is....."

and by the end of the thread, every freestyle song has been bashed!
 
chuck accept the fact that not every freestyle song is good....then that will be enuff
 
p.s....it doesn't mean u love freestyle ANY LESS when u can truely admit a truly wack freestyle song!! there are MANY....as there are many GREAT ONES in any musical jaundra!

Ok, I guess these topics have to be discussed because there are always new people that show up and werent around for the previous posts. These sometimes bring up interesting facts, too. Also, there is always a reason for hating a song (too much radio play, bad production, an x's song). As long as there is not true "hatred", i think it can be safe! (Lord knows i had a few songs i hated because of x's!! what was funny is that im great friends with the singer that sang the song that i strongly disliked!!)
 
It's not that serious yo! People talk about the artists and the songs they love non-stop. Why is it soi out of line to express the opposite?

Yeah it's true, there are artists on the site but part of their job is taking constructive criticism just as well as they take the praises. You take the good with the bad in everything. That's just real. That's just life in general.

It ain't that serious. So with that being laid on the table, I say the most overrated and worst are:

"Crying Over You" Soave
"Point Of No Return '85" Expose'
"Only In The Night" Voice In Fashion
"Counting The Days" Joey Kidd
"Sending All My Love" Linear
"Did it Feel Like Love" Genuine Parts
"Take Me in your Arms Again" Lil' Johanna
"Love of a Lifetime" Collage (solo)
"Those Were The Times" Miguel reyes (sorry, just too cheesy for me)
 
I never said that all freestyle was good, or that if you admit to it that it means you don't like freestyle.

However, there are quite a few freestyle artists that come here, and how would you feel if you later found out that they got upset about something that you said about their song?

If the criticism is kind, that's different, but at times some peeps have been really overboard about their descriptions, and I just want to make sure that people's feelings are taken into consideration, that's all.

I'm honestly getting tired of the "best and worst" threads. It's getting very old and pathetic. And how could you not like "Silent Morning"? That's the FIRTS Freestyle single I purchased with my own allowance money at 10 years old! That shit is classic! Oh yeah- what is "jaundra"? I think you meant, "genre".

I got my eyes on this thread just incase it goes berzerk. Im sure we are mature adults to kindly post our dislike on certain freestyle song without being ridiculously childish and rant and bash the artist or song.

See reemixx? I wasn't upset with ya for starting the thread to mention bad freestyle, or for saying that you don't like Noel.

Sometimes things like this get out of hand.

Someone who disagrees with your opinin posted something against you, just for a mis-spelling.

Was your opinion of Noel wrong? No. It's your opinion, and that can't be wrong, but some peeps take things like this personally.

I also happen to know some artists who don't like these types of threads, so I was just considering their feelins.

I meant no disrespect toward you when I first posted to your thread.

( HAPPY CARLITO?) HAS SOME SONGS THAT ARE GOD AWFUL..AND I CAN GO ON EVEN FURTHER THAN NOEL....but I won't...Nothing against you personally Chuck but hey it's just a post!

:lol No. It's not like that...it's looking out. You see I agree with what ChuckD said about feelings being hurt. One can handle constructive critism...but at the same time let us remember we are here for a cause...and thats to get more of the music we love! Remember too that such artists like Noel and others helped pave the way for Freestyle Music to reach the stars. Everyone that joined the Freestyle scene played a vital role for our beloved music...weather you don't like the song etc...thats the plain bottom truth.

I love Noel...he's simply AMAZING. "The Question" the question that burns in my mind is how much I love your music...and every artist that has sung...from the bottom of his/her heart. When your heart sings...that truly is something to be appreciated...afterall emotions are moved and singing is a gift. Not too many sport it.

i agree sometimes theses threads do get ugly..ive been here long enough to have seen the level of imaturity and viciousness that can stem from a "simple harmless" post ..just put your opinion out there and thats it..no need to have it turn out into verbal sparring matches
after all we all are like a family in here with a mutual love of freestyle music otherwise we wouldnt be here..so as long as there is respect in postings and rebutals then cool.. I have to agree that any song with the planet rock beat i immediately either change the station if its on air or promptly remove it from my cd player lower the window and fling it out!!!🙂
