Although this isn't freestyle music, its still two songs i've been looking around for, thought i post this here to see if anyone can help.

One of the song goes something like "she goes dum di doo da dum di doo" eh, i know its quite ackward a lyric quote, but.. if you heard it and read the lyric here.. i'm sure you know what i'm talking about. Pretty famous a song, kinda of a hippy hop tune to it...

Second song was a earlier original song, later turn into a remake by Mariah Carey, self titled "Fantasy". I like to know the original song's name and artist, can someone help me with that? Think it was a RB/Rap song too, not sure if that will help.

I don't know the first song you're talking about.

The second song that Mariah Carey sampled for "Fantasy" is "Genuis Of Love" by the Tom Tom Club.

It starts with the lines Mariah finishes her song with.....

"I'm in heaven, with my boyfriend, my loving boyfriend."
 
Yes you are correct chuck. I love that song. (both of them)
The Genius of love track was used in a car commercial of late, i forget which company though. Just a lil early morning too much info.

Uhh try this quote "going dum di dum da dum di di doo" uhh man, i'm lame.. How come nobody knows the name, i was able to get people to know what i'm talking about at school though 🙁

there is a song by rimini project called sounds good, that has a la di dee dum de dum part. That songs.. on a sunny day yea i feel ok.. singing la la dee da di dum... etc etc
I dont know if thats the song, but maybe it will help u remember some more of the lyrics so we can help you more

the song is indeed a classic b-boy tune. the song is called "DIN DAA DAA" by GEORGE KRANZ. It can be found on TOMMY BOY'S PERFECT BEATS VOLUME 3.

Which was DAVID BYRNES (of TALKING HEADS fame) side project.

oo0 unless this song started out very differently, its not the one. Either is the one sicilla suggested though 🙁. The lyric indeed is almost perfect match, but its not the one.. Damn 😱

To me it sounds like one of the C&C remixes for one of Seduction's songs that went "Get dumb...." I think it was the remix to "You're My One and Only" or "Two to make it right." They both had various mixes on the 12" singles that were awesome.

Hmm still not it, none of them is the right one 🙁.

Darn it all, i will try to ask those guys from school (they in fact had sung it in unison a few weeks back) lol, i can't believe i'm (self proclaimed audiophile) is loosing to just a couple of regular people (or are they? 😉 )
