He was performing with some other artists scheduled to be at the park for Bronx Health Day. I only went there for the concert lol. Anyway, to prove that he was there, go to www.prestigeproductions.com and you will see his picture on the flyer. I went to the Copacabana one Tuesday night at the end of May and received the same flyer in my hands, so that's how I got the info on the concert.
I didn't get the chance to take any pictures because I had so much fun with the people around me. He looks very good in person, still has the same short hairstyle. And he busted a move onstage too. After his performance of (in order): "Like A Child", "The Question" and "Silent Morning", he came to sign some autographs. I didn't get the chance to speak to him though 🙁. Its all good! I'm pretty sure he'll have more shows lined up for himself in the NYC. 80s children like me and people who were familiar with NOEL's songs, we sung along with him, showing our support. I'm sure he appreciated that very very much 🙂. I mean we knew every word to every song damn it lol.
I'm writing to see if anyone else went yesterday to the Free Concert held by J I Star (El Boriqua de NY). J I Star hosted the whole event. Ya'll might be mad at me for not taking any pictures (which I too am mad at myself!) but its all good. If you went, or want to talk about the event, please respond. And if anyone has any pictures respond too. Just wanted to tell ya'll what went down on Sunday, 6/5. 😉
