Crazy shit.

Last night I was helping my friend pack & move, and he was going through boxes of old stuff- photos, magazines, etc.

He whips out an issue of Interview magazine, yeah, the one with Divine on the cover from 1988.

I'm flipping through the yellow-colored, paper pages and see Noel chillin' in an Amaretto advertisement! I was like, "Wow". And he looked really, really good back then. Yum. The things I would do........Anyway, that was probably the first time I've ever seen that in a major publication.

Anyway, it was cool seeing that shit. Has anyone come across that or something?

I remember waaaayyy back in 1990 or 91 there was a commercial for Coca Cola in spanish that featured Coro, Lissette Melendez, and A Lighter Shade Of Brown.

Yeah. I remember that. I remember receiving a cassette from Coca Cola with like 4 or 5 songs- kind of like a promotional product. I'm sure it was the summer of 1991 because that was the year that I moved back from Italy and "Together Forever" was blowing up that Spring/Summer, as was Tara Kemp (which was also on one of the cassettes).

1991 was a great f**ckin' year, man.

I went to Fort Hamilton, and also lived on Fort Hamilton down in Bay Ridge (under the Verrazano Bridge).
