This is a question for you New Yorkers. I know that The Yankees, The Knicks, The Giants and Rangers are NY's original teams. But Since The Nets, jets, Mets, Islanders and Devils has had equal or more success than those teams. Why is it The Nets(even though Jay Z may Move the team to brooklyn since he is a part owner)Mets, Islanders, Devils and Jets get no love in NYC?
 
NJ teamz get no love in NY cuz they've been living in NY's shadow ever since they started! And the fact that the NJ teams are doing well is eating the NY peeps alive! Hehehee!! And when an NJ team becomes good, NY wants to take it, just like they wanna take the Nets away!! :nono :jiggy

It's like in LA. Even though The Angels started in LA, it was always a Dodgers town. Peeps in LA(5 fans.LOL) feel like, even though The Angels play in The OC(Orange County) still, The Angels play in Anahiem, that's their team. Despite The Angels got a good team, and won a WS unlike the Dodgers who have sucked for 12 years.

It looks like their is tension between NYC and Jersey. It's shocking to find Yankees and Knicks fans in Jersey. There has been the myth about The devil rays or The Marlins possibly relocation to Jersey? The Mets and Yankees would like that!!LOL
 
I have been a NET fan since my 1st game, at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, when they played with that funny colored ball. and their stars were guys named Billy Palstz, Nate Archibald, and Dr. J !!! Still a fan that trecks to the "Swamps" in NJ to watch them, can't wait till they get to BKLYN!!! Cannolli's and Espresso at the games!
 
Yea sure, take them to Brooklyn now that they're better than all ya NY teams! Why didn't they want them in Brooklyn in the 90's, when they weren't even making the playoffs....yea why????? Sheeet!
