I also found the Eyra Gail version at 4 weeks #71 for the last 2 weeks in a row in the HOT 100 SINGLE SALES CHART

Can someone explain to me if this means the Eyra Gail version is actually selling more to get on the bigger chart?

I believe Eyra's version is getting more radio airplay than the Heaven version, but don't quote me as that being the reason Eyra's is charting higher. 🙂

Just to clarify...

"Heaven" by DJ Sammy & Yanou featuring Do has spent 15 weeks on the Soundscan/Billboard Single Sales Chart and is currently the #17 selling single in the country and it's the #2 selling Dance Maxi Single in the country behind Cher's "Song for the Lonely".

DJ Sammy is also #51 with a bullet on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart after 4 weeks on that chart.

It's not even close. DJ Sammy has nearly 3,000 spins at radio this week while Eyra is less than 200. With a lot of them coming from one station.

I know Eyra Gail is one.. BUT who is Do...w/ Dj Sammy???

i am getting a little confised.. i have both versions & they sound the same...
how did this happen anyway...??? Was it a distirbution issue??

phillybronx there are two completely different artists out now singing the same song HEAVEN

DJ SAMMY & Yanou feat. Do is from Europe on Robbins (label)
EYRA GAIL is from Miami on 24/7 Records (label)

(They are both covers of the Bryan Adam's song HEAVEN.)

the reason i made this post was to CONGRATULATE jparker and Budz/Marano ----CF members nothing more honestly 🙂 I have now learned to not post the numbers as I am more confused than ever which is the only reason why I am going to attempt to ask for an explanation as why I am reading different numbers if someone would be so kind.

jparker u may be getting ur information from another source which gives you different numbers but this is what i am looking at:

BILLBOARD - June 15th Issue

page 95 - HOT 100 chart #51 is MY LIST by Toby Keith (No Heaven version listed)

page 94 - HOT 100 SINGLES SALES chart #17 is I NEED A GIRL by P.Diddy and Ginuwine (DJ Sammy Heaven is not listed but #71 is Heaven by Eyra Gail with 4 weeks in chart #71 last two weeks.)

page 30 - MAXI SINGLE SALES #2 is U DON'T HAVE TO CALL (Remixes) by Usher (DJ Sammy is in the charts for 14 weeks 3 weeks at #5; Eyra Gail is in the charts for 10 weeks 2 weeks ago at #8 then last 2 weeks at #10)

here's another one:

page 94 HOT 100 AIRPLAY Heaven by DJ Sammy & Yanou feat. Do is on the chart 1 week #65

Wherever they are listed its really nice to see. A thanks for noticing might have been refreshing too! hell, even more peeps wishing congrats LOL.... Again my congratulations to both labels and the people behind them for getting it on the chart 🙂
