Longtime people. Hope everyone is well. It's been sometime since I've been here as I've been very busy with various projects. Anyhow, I have to tell you that I've checked out a bunch of the "Download my music" links here and I have to tell you, most of the songs SUCK! Now, I'm not the best producer, by no means... and I may not have had the best vocalists on my label, but c'mon people. This is why the music is dead. The songs ****in' suck! The singers mostly suck, the music is ultra cheese-oid and I can't believe that people will post "hey great song, good luck!" or "you'll have much success in the music business". Shit, I would rather hear a record by William Hung, or whatever that quacks name is from American Idol who thinks he can sing like Ricky Martin.
Maybe I shouldn't be so harsh. Maybe people don't want to hear the truth. The truth is what I used to write back in the old Miami Hot Traxx days, the old DMA days, etc... The labels, artist, producers loved what I wrote, as long as it was 1) not about them or 2) promoting their material.
Let me close with this... I heard more trash than decent stuff. I did hear some promise in some of the songs I checked out. I just wish I could get back the 30 minutes of my life of listening to the bad stuff I sat through (and that was only like 15 - 30 snipets).
I'm not anti-freestyle... just anti-bad-freestyle!
