first of all.. :wave hi everyone !!!
Well, I just recently went to a party and was introduced to a lead singer of a local band. he asked me to sing with him and he loved the way my voice complemted his. I went to band practice and he had a mic for me. we sang and i was disappointed.
Here is where you guys come in...
I haven't sang in over 6 years... now i know you must be thinking like i was "it's like riding a bike.. you never forget..." but let me just tell you.. you need to keep your voice in check cause when i sang that day it sounded so terrible. I was so out of tune from not practicing.
I wanted to know if there is anything that you can suggest to me. get voice lessons... or turn on my keyboard and do it on my own??? also since it's been that long my confidence level is down and he said that i needed to boost that cause when i was a little tipsy the night of the party i sang awesome, but in front of the band sober was a differnt story.
I live in Miami, fl. please give me advise!!!
(i also own a karaoke machine. )
