As I stand in the doorway
Tears begin to fall
There I see you
With her in your arms
How you could have her in our home
I will never understand
As I try to compose myself
I walk slowly to your side
I brush your hair from your face
and pass my fingers through your lips
You awaken by my touch
and just have this look of amazement
I didn't begin to yell
nor did I wheep
I whispered my goodbye to you
and took my children while they were asleep
I've left you for the last time
there is no turning back
I can't handle the hurt & pain you bring
everytime there is a disagreement
So I shall be strong for myself & my kids
because we both know that I don't need a man to be content
Just remember you did this to us
and I will be the one with vengence in the end.....
