My school was on channel 7 news last night regarding our mascot. We have an Indian and there's a whole bunch of drama and controversy because the American Indians don't like it. We had the damn mascot for 100 years I think and they're trying to take it off. GRR!! They cannot do that! :sosad well anyway my little school in the boonies was recognized lol yay :yeey

hey Fantasy - i remeber back when I was in High School, my school was on the news a couple of times but for bad reasons,, I used to go to a GHETTO school, so that should explain why it was on the news a few times..LOL..
 
yeah my school was on the news only for bad reasons... i remember like one of the good times was cos some guy we had was like a very good basketball player... and then another time The Star came to interview our students and they had a big shot of this really hot guy on the cover from my school... um.. that's all i remember

other times was cos the shootings, shooting in the summer school.. weapon posessions, fights, theft... hm.. yeah... students died in car accidents lol

oh, but funny thing.. i find all this out from people from other schools and regions like missisauga or richmond hill lol... damn publicity
 
well we're in the newspaper all the time for that. we're the worst school in the entire county (violence wise) lol its good to be recognized for something not soo bad lol
 
Well it's mostly the students bringing it up and expressing their feelings about it.

i remember my elematary school was on the news when i was in 4th grade there was Hepatitis going around and we all had to go to get blood tests at the school while there were camera crews amd stuff all over the lawn. so before i got my blood test. i got behind a reporter who was reporting live and i stood on the bike rack. the next day everyone in my class was like"YOU WERE ON TV!"it was on channel 5. lol
