My Lucky Boyfriend song?

Ok Guys,

I know I am not giving you much to help me out but there was a song back in late 89 or early 90 that came out with a female vocal on it....sounded much like Expose but of course wasn't and in that song there was a hook that they repeated over and over and over, "My Lucky Boyfriend, My Lucky Boyfriend, My Lucky Boyfriend." It was like one of those Miami Bass/Freestyle Beat type songs.......does anybody have any clue on what da hell I am talking, LOL! Your help is much needed.

Today at work I heard it sampled into something else
the young kid working today thought it was a Mariah CAREY song

NO!! It is not. I couldn't remember the name of the band so she didn't believe, so I came home to google it so I can go back to work tomorrow and tell her to go home and google TOM TOM CLUB. That's OLd school
