Well, First Bonnie, she diddn't do much, then Charley, then Francis, then Ivan, and now Jeanne, ...followed by Karl & Lisa.

Jeanne is said to come close to Florida, but then shoot upward towards the Carolinas. (But everyone here is getting prepared, cuz mother nature is unpredictable). Especially now that they say we will in some way be affected by Jeanne. (Hopefully not).

Karl & Lisa are a lil too far to tell exactly where they are heading, but they are said to probably hit the more north east. Again, it's unpredictable, but it's not uncommon for NYC, Philly, or Boston to get Hurricanes & Tornadoes.
It COULD happen. (It's happenned before).

I forgot which storm it was, & what year, but I remember seeing something on a Hurricane that came in, hit Pennsylvania, did little damage, went BACK into the ocean, gained strength, and shot UP towards NYC & made a mess of NYC. - Now that's ugly.

Let's just hope they stay in the water this time. (Yeah right).

Not AS bad, but from another board I frequent:

"The remnants low pressure area that was once Ivan has found its way all the way back to the Gulf of Mexico and has now redeveloped and earning tropical storm status. The system is heading toward the Texas Coast and will likely make landfall late tonight or very early Friday. While Ivan is not expected to pack a major punch with wind, it will cause coastal flooding and possibly inland flooding."

My moms was just in PR, & they had Jeanne too. (She left for a week after we had Francis).
It was crazy, cuz they wouldn't let them leave Florida cuz of Francis, & then they couldn't leave PR cuz of Jeanne, & now Jeanne is hittin' ova here - she's PISSED!

I don't think they meant that Jeanne will hit da north east, - they're thinking it could be Karl or Lisa. I know one of them is already a category 3 or sumthin, & seems to be floating upward toward u guys. But it's still early to to tell.
 
Karl is already up in the middle of the North Atlantic, past NYC & Boston, it's in the middle of the ocean somwehere. It seems to be heading for suicide. lol.
But again, ...unpredictable.
 
Well I just got back from Florida thinking I was not gonna be able to go because of Ivan.. Made it tho - I was up there last week & am now back in NY and I cant believe after my fam took their "paneles off the ventanas" that Jeanne's coming! They are NOT happy. Jeanne is said to possibly reach Cat 3 by time it arrives.. and if it's a direct hit, will be a really ugly storm! What a crazy Hurricane Season this has been! Brace up Florida.. season aint anywhere near Over!!
 
the mid atlantic which ny is part of had not seen a real serious kick ass hurricane in 25 years the experts have said we where do for a whopper i see bring it on this is ny we are tough bastards
 
Yes us Nyorka's are tough bastards, ... but I doubt it will resist a Category 5 Hurricane.

(OMG, I can't even imagine what NYC would look like after a storm like dat. It would be freakin' devastating).
