Money Toward Education

P.Diddy ran the marathon and did as promised. He gave $1 million to the board of Education. I admire him for doing such a thing because he shows he cares about the education system here in NY. More than what the government does! I just wonder if those in authority are going to put that money to it's intended use and need for the children of NYC. What do you think?

That was very noble of him. He should come up to Boston and run a marathon here too LOL

Hopefully he'll start a trend with other people, not only in New York but in other parts of the country. A lot of people complain about public schools but don't do anything about it. By contributing to the cause is a nice way to feel empowered of your child's education.

Oh yes celebrities did donate money. J Lo, Ben Affleck, Bruce Willis, Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, etc. J Lo donated $1000. per mile. Ben Affleck donated something like $45,000. Bruce donated like $50,000. But just for somebody to want to give to the "F'ed" up board of education is really something honorable.
