Hey whats up everyone? I just have a quick ques.I just
purchased a mixer and all that stuff and the back of it
has mas1 mas2 and rec for output.now i have it connected
to the phono out of my denon amp and it sounds bad.the amp
only has phono,cd,dat,vcr,and aux/v game inputs it doesnt
have a nornal line in or out so where do i connect this
thing or do i have to just dish out for all seperates.The
reason is that when im working my wife likes to listen to
the radio.(oh brother).I dont have any other amp thats
why im using this for now.any feedback would be so helpfull

I'd really have to see the set-up, but I'll just say that you should have all connectuions running directly into your mixer, assuming you have a quality mixer with numerous inputs/outputs. That's what the mixer is designed for...to be used as the main power source for all your connections. I hope I made sense lol

Well anthony its not the best but its not bad, its a lineartech e-440 and the conn in the back are as follows mas2,rec,mas1,on top of those are bal/r & bal/L which the manuel says is for conn to your main amp using xlr cables.my amp dont have.now to the right of the mixer is cd/ch2,ph/ch2,cd/ch1/ph/ch1,ground.thats it.Its probaly also that the amp i have dont work either is b-cuz its a home theater amp, but it has phono in,cd,,vdp/tv,v.aux/game,vcr,dat/tape.and under is audio output and it just has vcr,and dat/tape.that it.
 
I'll be honest..I can't really you help you out unless I was there...Perhaps you know someone who can help you out. I'm not sure what the mas1 and mas2 is, etc...my mixer has 4 seperate channels with a phono/line input/output...thats where the turntables plug into...as well as a receiver, tape deck, etc...Then there is a seperate input/output for an amplifier, etc...Try connecting your Amp into one connection in the back of your mixer...then the turntable into one of your channel input/outputs in the back of your mixer....etc...again, it's hard to explain cause every mixer is different, etc.....perhaps there is a 1-800 # for the mixer, so that you can call up and explain your set-up to the staff there...give that a try too....
