I'm a forty year old Chicagoan who's has dedicated my life to the positive development of youth and youth related causes. At some point, I've gotta say, "It's time to pursue my own personal happiness." I've got a background in youth development and also radio work and event promotion. I've got a rather unique sense of humor and I'm passionate about the things that I become involved with. Yes, I've had past relationships, but the real deal has yet to blossom for me. Perhaps you are the one who I am destined to pursue happiness with...hey, it's in the Constitution! At 5 foot 10 inches and about 185 pounds, my average looks are complimented by my personality and detailed attention. Some may call me overly sensitive, but is that really a problem? I'd rather be sensitive to other's needs than macho and alone...
...Ideal Person: Someone who isn't judgmental, enjoys productive conversations and doesn't mind being fussed over. Someone who understands that at age 40, we all have had a past life. Someone who has the patience to work on a relationship based on honesty, respect and dedication. Friends are great, I've got a few...at this particular moment, I'd like to explore things that can turn into a dedicated relationship. Movies? Live theatre? Comedy Clubs?...all good. Dancing (only if you like to get your toes stepped on). Drinking (depends...you can have alcohol if you'd like). Smoking (it's your life and lungs). Kids (I've got one, if you have one too=family). Pleasant conversation is great, sitting and watching your favorite show is fine too, but understand that I have my favorites, too. Taking a walk...cool. I'd also like to meet someone who will understand that my son is my priority. My ultimate partner will eventually become a priority as well, but sometimes the deck gets reshuffled due to work, etc. Don't worry, I wouldn't expect lower standards for my ultimate partner. I understand that I may not be the top priority, either, but I'd like to be in the team picture...
