This is something I came across written by Tony G himself of Nu Image:

The Tony G you all have come to know as part of Nu Image is stepping down, but does not mean I will not be involved in the works of Nu Image. This new 3rd member was a choice long in the making but I believe if anyone was going to be in my place than this would be the person I would want.
In 2005 you will all be in for a stronger and better Nu Image, and even I feel great saying that.
Believe me once you see the show the "NEW" Nu Image puts on you won't even miss me.

As for Cesar replacing Tony G., well Cesar does have his own musical Backround
