Question:

I just joined Mi Gente.com ( perfectrhythm ) and I want to know any advice you may have.

What's good, bad about those sites.

There seem to be many attractive people but a lot of young, crazy people too.

Any advice is appreciated.

its full of alot of lonely people with pyschological problems thats what i found i dont go there anymore
 
Years ago they told me to get on that site. But I never liked the layout. I always found it clogged with people.

Doesn't surprised me it turned to shit 😛
 
Ive made a lot of good friends via Migente but there are also a lot of desperate peole trying to hook up I get about 20 #s sent to me if your handing your # out to people like that something is up lol but it is like any and all sittes where women and men interact you got your good sane people and your crazy peopel chances you take are up to you. One of the good things is you meet a lot of promoters so you are up to date on some of the hot spots and events going on aside from that as I said its like any other site. 🙂
 
I don't think ANYONE ever goes to one of those sites to "just look".

I'm there 'cuz I'm single again after 9 years and I'm looking for the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I don't know if I'll find that person in a website, but in the 21st century, I'm willing to be open-minded.

There seems to be a lot of young people looking for a quick fix, which seems dangerous.
 
I was single when I joined the site way back when lol but now I dont bother I go in see the crazy notes I get sent respond to friends and keep it moving I take none of it seriously . Anything can happen online its the same as hooking up with someone in a club you never know what you will get just be careful. 🙂
 
I used to be on it (JohnFly5) but then got out of it. Met some nice people through there, but the crazy ones seem to stick out in my memory the most. Its like Ballys, its a meat market, dont get into it too mcuh unless you are looking to get your freak on with someone. Thats about the only purpose of that website. It serves its purpose well, but it isnt for me anymore...

what cracks me up is all the "pages' on there with women with like three or four kids..then the caption reads "my first true loves" "just here for fun..not looking to hook up" but then she got pics up half dressed.in a thong or something..bending over posing.. titties and ass hangin out!!!

I've met alot of people off that site. I don't go on "looking" for anybody just mainly to pass time. I usually add the freestyle flyers on my page ... there's alot of people on there that love the music, just don't hear much about it anymore. My sn is Mona_chula_Lisa if ya ever get bored! 🙂
 
My friend (he's a pro baseball player) has met many friends through that site. He swears by it.

I don't think it's very user-friendly though.

I learned alot being on MG ..especially HTML! I have met many great friends and have done many pages also!

Ive met alot of nice people up in Migente. Although we met with other intentions.......things did not always clicked......this site is basically for dating. I do still keep in touch with some who just wanted a friendship....and I do go in here and there to check out my crazy notes......men dont care if my status states im INVOLVED.

I did meet my partner there......back in 2001, and in 2003 we got involved. Today were still going strong. He is as normal as I am.....too good of a man, so like Angie says, you just never know. It was a fun, crazy and it was also a scary experience, so be careful.
