hey how's it going everyone
my friend was telling me the other day that Marc Anthony use to sing Freestyle and i kind of didn't believe him, but i have a song called you should know by Chrissy I-eece with Marc anthony is that the same Marc Anthony that is big in the music industry today.
 
Yes, he did backround vocals on Chrissy I Eece's "You Should Know By Now".

He also did backround vocals on "Love Change" which is on the B side of "Here's Your Hat" by Elan & The Power Machine.

He also has two solo freestyle songs called "Time" and "Rebel"

He was also the star, along with Corina, in the freestyle movie "East Side Story" which featured other artists such as Safire, India, FFWD, & Chrissy I Eece. That movie was neevr officially released though. Only some bootleg copies are around... :heee
 
Yeah, he actually has a whole cd of "freestyle" and it includes that song "Time". Really old school stuff, nothing I would go pump in my car, but it's still Marc Anthony
 
he did an album with little louie vega called "when the night is over" in 1991...i got it haha...its alright for a debut!!!!its got a lot of different flavor to it not completely freestyle!!! alot of talen in it!
 
does anyone have the song Rebel and Time that they could send to me or tell me how i can get the two songs.
 
Toronto Rebel is hard to find, that came out a long time ago before the album "When the Night is over". The rebel was on a 12 inch vynil and his full name was on it Marco Antonio Muniz. Time is on the Album also Marc Anthony did Background vocals for Ann Marie "With or Without you", he did background vocals and wrote alot for Safire, Did background vocals for Chrissy Ieece and did also a duet with tittle "You and Me". Did background vocals for George Lamond "I want you back", and also wrote and did background vocals for Menudo. and everything the Anthony said 🙂 hope this helps
 
I was the assistant engineer on an overdub session for Marc Anthony's "Ride On The Rhythm" about 12 years ago. Little Louie Vega was trying to play the sax riff sample into the break in the middle of the song. He wasn't quite hittin the beat so I offered to play it in for him, he gave me the chance!!!!!! (I merely hit a key on a keyboard at the appropriate time!!!!!) So if you hear "Ride On The Rhythm" it's me playing in the sax sample live!!!!!!!! 🙂

That's very cool, sietz. I have Rebel on 12" vinyl and I didn't know Marc sang the backgrounds on Ann Marie's "With or Without You," one of my all-time favorite freestyle songs (but I say that about a lot of songs).

Not only did marc anthony write "boy ive been told" for SAFIRE, but they also shared the same manager at one time, David Maldonaldo. This was during Marc's early days of his salsa career.
