I think that now that she has kids, she is really really regretting the fact that she acted out when she was younger. I just hate the fact that as people get older and then have kids, that it takes them to HAVE the kids in order for them to see that what they did in the past made them have regrets and that it got them to stop their old ways. So for her to see her kids do the same thing, it hurts her enough even though they are not that way now, but Chuck you had a point -- she cannot stop them from rebelling when they are teens. Its amazing how kids can change some people. The birth of a son some years back even changed Rick James.
