Looking for the classic orch hit

Anyone out there happen to have the classic fs orch hit used in almost all fs songs? Chris Philips uses it alot.

I don't have anything where I can get a clean enough sample of it.

i use one called "Impact" on the RolandXV5080... don't know if that's the exact one u mean.... there's a bunch of other hits on that Roland that could work.... and also theres freestylish hitz on the EMU Orbit synth module.... 🙂

Yeah the one on the Roland is nice and I use it alot, I was looking for more of that synthy sounding one. I will have to pick up the Orbit. I actually have every other piece except that one 🙂 Might as well complete the set!

i hear ya the roland hit is close, but its a bit on the clean side for freestyle... needs to be more lo-fi... 🙂

Yeah, I had ended up making my own which had its own distinctive sound but unfortunately when I sold my ASR-10, I forgot to sell the drive with it and formatted the disk for my mpc2000, doh!

The Roland JV 10-10 had it too, and more..m,mmmm think thats off the market now, but the XP series should have it as well. The Triton Extreame has them too, Thease might be the hits your referring to, but there damn close.

I've downloaded a few decent Orchestra Hits (plus other interesting Hits/Stabs) HERE

They are SoundFonts and playable via MIDI in any NN-XT compatible module. 😉

The Best Way Is To Make Your Own Hits If You Take A Regular Sounding Average Hit Tweak It A Little And Overdub It With Some Other Sounds It Will Come Out Sounding Alot Better And Alot More Original. Theres A Lot Of Different Ways To Go About It.
