I am trying to firgure out this song... the lyrics are as follows

Anyone know what this is?

the song is "the ride inside" by LAYIZON It came out around 1988 on Cameron Paul's label TANDEM RECORDS out of the San Francisco Bay area

You were right about that!! I've spent the evening trying to find it on cd... to no avail. I believe I was lucky to find the 12'', I'm hoping it's in good condition!
