I'm going to start a collection of the original cds of freestyle artists, meaning no burned cds. Trouble is there are soOoO many and i dont know where to start. I went on amazon and got the title of several cds from ppl and groups like TKA, Stevie B, Safire, Lil Suzy, etc.
Those were easy to get but i KNOW there are a lot of bad ass material out there that i wouldnt know how to search for. SoOo if my CF fam would be so kind as to share the artist and name of the album of a BAD ASS cd, please post up..it will be greatly appreciated. Remember, the more the better :dancepuff

Wow good luck! It's not gonna be easy and get ready to dish out some expensive money for a few.

im going to use my livejournal as a public wish list so my friends can help me out whenever its my birthday or w/e...arent i a smart cookie?...lol

Don't forget to check in certain record and second hand stores. There are stores that sell used cd's and i just got a bunch for like $5 each. And then a 2nd hand(thrift) store I go to, I can sometimes even get the vinyls for $2. Do you have lots of compilations? Compilations are great, cause it gives you an idea of different artists. One of my fave's gotta be India's 'Breaking Night'. Usually anything on the Micmac or Metropolitan labels are pretty great if we're talking old school. Good Luck!

may i ask where .

Hey, Ed, I don't know exactly how much you know LI, but check out Mother's Music in Patchogue, they have used cd's, I think for $5.99. You gotta look though, but with me the problem wasn't lack of freestyle, it was lack of funds and they got loads of vinyls and u can get some good deals. Also I go to this thrift shop on 25 in Selden and they have lots of vinyln there, though it's harder to find freestyle. Gotta have patience and keep checking back, cause they're real ignorant and don't know the value, so when you find em you find em real cheap. It's called Selden Thrift.
