fortunately.. you can get this station streamed onto your pc.. all you need is windows media player & it opens up w/ ease.. & you have live on air feed. there's NOT alot of talking, commercials are minimal & it's mostly current dance music ( Euro, Freestyle etc.)... a few diverse songs here & there... like Eve.. or LL, O-town, emimem BUT no where near the commercialism puported by KTU...
& NOT PINK 65 times a day...LOL

THIS IS AN AWESOME RADIO STATION.. all I listen to now...
& if they are XM available. then I will soon be getting XM for the car.. b/c I am tired of the commercial garbage we get here on KTU

as we do them.
 
it is check out www.tonymonacoradio.com www.z1035.com they put out compilations and a lot of freestyle ones 🙂 and give artists like dimi, tamara, zoe, elissa, joee, freda and other candaian artists exposure...tony monaco is a member here
 
new york should have a station playing straight up dance music all day, no rap, no pop, just straight up club. latin house, freestyle, lo que sea just real dance and club!!!
 
I'm surprised NYC doesnt have an all Dance station, there are many that have been poppin up all over the country. Party 93.1 in Miami, Party 92.7 in San Francisco, 102.1X in Denver, C89.5 in Seattle(been playing Dance music over 20 years), Energy 92 & 101 in Phoenix, and a new one in Dallas at 106.7 to name a few.

How much does it suck.... that we don't have a true dance station here in NY. Like I said I listen the live stream from Z103 in CANADA.

when I need to search for new, hot dance music.. I checkout the florida stations.. like party 93.5, 92.7.. etc. or I go to the Euro sites...
I called in to Z103 yesterday.. spoke w/ the hammer. ( a DJ)
when I told him i was calling from NY... He asked me why I wasn't listening to KTU... I told him flat out..."b/c they suck.. ALL they play is the same commercial crap..over & over.

this argument has been going on for years now...
look at a station like 102.7 WNEW here in NY.. ever since losing Opie & Anthony..(thier only winning show).. they have fallen deeper into the shitter. TELL me a PURE dance station w/ that type of dial location wouldn't do awesome... It as if the radio people don't realize that thier ratings would double in a week.... it's a win situation.. BUT it won't happen..

ILL TELL YOU ALL RIGHT NOW, I NEVER LISTEN TO THE RADIO ANYMORE....ILL LISTEN TO KTU ON SUNDAY WHEN JUDY IS ON BUT THATS IT....WITH SO MANY CLUBS IN THE CITY I CANT BELIEVE WE DONT HAVE AN ALL DANCE STATION..LIKE PHILYL SAID"DONT U THINK THEYD GET WITH THE PROGRAM BY NOW" THE SAME STUFF THEY PLAY U CAN JUST GO OVER TO Z100. ACTUALLY I LIED IVE BEEN LISTENING TO 105.1 BCUZ I LIKE THE OLD SCHOOL THEY PLAY FROM BACK IN THE DAY.....BUT KTU SHOULD GET THEYR HEAD OUT THEIR A** AND CAHNGE THEIR FORMAT TO ALL CLUB....DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY PLAY FREESTYLE EVERY NOW AND THEN, CUZ NO ONE ELSE DOES....BUT IVE NEVER HEARD NE OF THE NEW ARTISTS OUT THERE....KTU IS THE ONLY STATION THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY IT AND THEY DONT...IM TIRED OF HEARING DILEMMA ARENT YOU GUYS......KTU IF U HEAR US PLS CHANGE TO ALL CLUB WE NEED YOU!!

If you can get the signal.... there is station in Long Island
105.3 they are as pure a dance station as your going to get.
you can get it as you make your way further into the Island & you can get it in south Connecticut.. b/c they are only seperated by the LI Sound...
There was some talk in the media about simulcasting the 105.3 station on the closer NYC sister station 92.7 WLIR... & on Sat. nights..92.7 does play some good CLUB.. but they haven't changed the entire format.

XM Radio Anyone...LOL.. thats gonna be the next move..
