I was kinda dissapointed because most of the beginning tracks on it were that notorious "berrios" beat. The one that cut it for me was "time passes by". I love that one regardless!

Orgntr I dont know what you mean by the berrios beat. Are the oringinals (from the original album Imagination etc.) a different beat.

NO. That notorious "together forever" beat that spawned a whole bunch of other that sound like it. I guess since they saw the "planet rock beat" hit it big in the freestyle scene, they decided to try to do the same with that beat. But to me, the "planet rock beat" is an exception to the freestyle rule. lol.

That "notorious Berrios beat" is one of my favorite sounds in music. It was creative and also caused many people to copy. Like Timbaland, The Neptunes, and other infamous beatmakers, you know your shyt is hot when everyone starts copying left & right.

Lisette's cd was dope. Though I thought it should've included some of her songs from "Un Poco de Mi" and her tracks with Sir George too. I mean in total, she has released 4 full-length, original albums (before this hits cd). Most of the tracks were from the first two only. But I liked the mix and the biography complete with photos taken with her peers through the years. That project was done well, it's one of my favorite cd's.
