Thats the first song that got me into freestyle back when I was like 10 maybe 9... That video even got airplay on MTV, anyone remeber they would be on a peer dancing by the beach ? Britney Spears jacked their whole dancing on a peer thing.

Linear!!!!!!!

My God, that brings me back!!! I don't know about you guys, but freestyle isn't just music for me, it's a way of life. I was in high school when that song came out! And man was I an outkast!! My parents had moved us out to this little suburb where everyone was like these honky tonk, grunge, metal head rocker types. And here I am the only gina!!! Freestyle was like unknown to these people and I seemed strange to them. Back then, freestyle wasn't even known as freestyle really (except to those REALLY in the know) everyone just called them gino beats (or in the states you guys would have known them as guido beatz!! lol) Anyways, I had this boyfriend who argued with me that there was no such thing as gino beatz or freestyle. That it wasn't a genre of music! AS IF!!!! Then Linear got some airplay on MuchMusic (our version of MTV in Canada) and he got a taste, because he refused to listen to my tapes, said it was all underground. Mind you, he didn't last that long! If you dis my freestyle you gots to go!!! ;-)
But freestyle takes me back, and actually even my younger sister wasn't all that into it back then, so now when I talk with her fiance (he's my age) we totally bond on all the freestyle we listen to.. What we were doing back then, what the songs meant to us, all the break dancing and stuff. Damn!!! 1984 and beyond!!! We're talking EARLY freestyle!! (Am I that old???)
But Linear.... I miss those guys.. I heard a remake of that song and it's okay, but I still have my Linear tape (no cd back then! lol)and listen to it still! Those guys kicked! Tolga, great job! Tell them to come on back to those who love them!!!

HAHAHA MUCH MUSIC ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Im from Corpus Christi TX (the states) and those who know any geography, know that Corpus is one of the cities most southern of Canada. I love that sock guy thingie..... he rocks. As a matter of fact ima email Much On Demand and Request "Linear - Sending all my love". I wonder if they will play it. I know they play some Jocelyn Enriquez and some other big name freestyle cats.

Hekt whats up bro !! I had no idea you were from Chorpus Christi, my artist Daisey and I went down there for a show at some car show about a year and a half ago .. Chorpus Christi is a tight place to visit, of course i had to see all the Selena everythings there, and the people at her store were really nice, people in Chorpus are very real and very family oriented, i hope 2 visit there again soon, take care, randy
 
Thats cool Randy... I dont like attending those car shows, I have a feeling I just wont fit in at one of those things.
But I think I do remember the time Daisy was down here.... If i re-call correctly Angelina and someother big name was down here for that one, (we have so many its hard to keep up with). Did you come down that time when Josette was hitting with her " In a Dream " single ? I wanted to go to that too, but again... I wouldnt have fit in ( it was a gay club) and at the time I was much younger and scared to death of those. You know... the whole High School reputation thing and all. LOL its so funny you mention Selena Touring.... I still cant stop laughing when I pass by her boutique and see people taking snap shots.

Ok ok ok, dont be starting rumors like that !! I dont wanna be seen in the rumors section!! Theres nothing wrong with listening to Backstreet, Nsync, Britney or whoever, i have a universal mind and it helps me out on what the public is buying when i produce more sounds .. I dont study the dance moves miss tania !! and im not checking out his dew !!

Nothing Wrong With That!

Randy........There is nothing wrong listening to Nsync, Britney or Backstreet. I listen to them. My first concert was the Nsync concert. Very Nicely Performed. I know you don't study the Backstreet boys moves. I just had to say that. I was caught up in the moment. Nsync got better moves though and nice music that makes you wanna dance but backstreet got the sweet, down to earth type of songs. They balance each other out.

As for Britney, she'e cool. She's going to be the next Madonna. Nobody can top Madonna. She's the best. Britney is only good enough to be right under her not next to her.....
