i honestly like the idea and concept of the lyrics, and her deilvery.... but i am not so up on the production.....i think a remix sounding like victor calderone, that kid chris, or peter rauhofer remixes would be off tha chain.....it's nice to hear from LINA again though!!!

big ups to randy for bringing her back, hook it up wit sum HOUSE mixes!!!

LINA....keep doin your thang girl!!!

Lex-

I like your choice of remixers. I, for one, am a big fan of remixes and I take a liking to anything worked-up by Hex Hector and Johnny Vicious. I'm just now getting a feel for Peter R. and a few others.

I think what many of these singles today lack, especially Freestyle, is something hard and out of the ordinary. I like what Johnny Vicious did with "Show Me" (Angel Clivelles), especially the Hard House version.

It's something for the dj's to have fun with, and it really does get club play. I was buggin' out when I first heard it being played at a club here in Boston. How many different Freestyle mixes do we need on one single?

I agree with you here. Freestyle artists gonna need these house/tribal/garage/techno/downtempo... mixes if they wanna be taken seriously by D.j.'s who otherwise deem freestyle as a joke or a thing of the past.

But I guess the thing also is, how cost-efficient is it gonna be to enlist a good d.j. like the ones mentioned?

honeslt i wouldn't evern try to dare to market a "freestyle" record these days, maybe if it's was like an electroclash type sound it could be workable, but the market for freestyle is not good anymore in all honesty and the genre itself continues on but it more on a underground tip, i would seriously try to do up house records...or of course try to make up a nu fresh and so clean beat....ahem ahem....it's about TIME!!! damn it i know it's not easy but if only i had all the equipment and knew it i would love to pan sumin out!!!
