This just in. The Ohio HS Atletic committee has ruled HS Basketball phenomenon; LeBron James ineligble to play HS ball. This came after it was reported that a Sports store gave LeBron two replicar jerseys of Gail Sayers and Wes Unseld which totals to $800. I must say, why should he be help responsible for that. His games are on PPV and on ESPN, but he can't have two nice jerseys!! Give me an Fing break!!!:mad

DAYUM!!!!!!

HATERS I TELL YOU... ANY EXCUSE NOT TO LET A BROTHA BE SUCCESSFUL......DAYUM SHAME...😱 :crap :mad

If he was violating the rules in Ohio. Maybe the school should have told him, it's not a good idea to get a H2. Maybe the school should not have agreed to put the games on PPV!!! It's sad the school can make money off this boy and if he takes one piece of the pie, he's breaking the rules!! IT'S CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad

sad indeed, the money machine at work in full force. we the school, espn, school district, the team and the shoe company's are the only ones allowed to profit from your success lebron...sorry kid, but you'll just hafta wait til you hit the n.b.a. next year to actually get anything from all your hard work cuz since your just a high school kid it is against the rules for you to make a dime off your own name and career, we only get to profit from that...

how shady is that crap??

you can get a hummer for 50k as a "gift" from your "mom" from a dealership (to the stars) in southern california when you live in ohio (hmmmm, connections will help ya wont they?) and your ruled to still be eligible but the minute you accept a couple of free jerseys from a sporting goods store you are now a badd boy, in violation and get sidelined?

some funny stuff for real...

This whole situation is crap!!!!!!!!! It's just not fair for the team to be taken to games in Limos but he can't have a H2 nor have a few vintage jerseys. He should only have a crumb of the blame that's it. The people at fault should be his mother, the HS team coach, the school system, and ESPN!!!!!:mad

YOU SAID IT MIKE...OH...AND, I LOVE DICK VITALE, BUT WHATTA HYPOCRITE HE IS WHEN ALL HE HARPS ON IS FOR KIDS TO STAY IN SCHOOL, GO TO COLLEGE AND CONDEMNS THE MEDIA AND THE SYSTEM FOR USING KIDS FOR BIG BUSINESS, COMMERCIALIZATION AND THE WAY THEY CAN BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, LIKE LABRON, THEN ITS MR. VITALE THERE AS AN ESPN COMMENTATOR AT THE GAMES THEY ARE TELEVISING OF THIS HIGH SCHOOL KID??? UNREAL!! LMAO

LEST NOT LOOK SO MUCH AT THE KID BUT THE PEOPLE AROUND THE KID WHO ARE SUPPOSEDLY THERE TO PROTECT HIM BUT REALLY ONLY HAVE THEIR OWN CAREERS AND BEST INTERESTS IN MIND....

Their best interest is to make money off the kid. But he can't have a few replica jerseys. But $500 for a Wes Unseld jersey, I know he's a legend here in DC when he played with The Wizards(then The Bullets). But thats a little too much.LOL. Vitale is my favorite commentator, but he is too much of a Cheerleader though!! I blame his mom the most, she should not have taken out a loan for him to buy a H2, she should have told him to wait til he gets drafted in The NBA then buy the H2. Everybody is taking advantage of this kid, but if he try to enjoy some of it, it's a violation. Please!!

I totally agree with you guys about them leaving him alone. First of all, if that was one of my sons, I would be seeking the best damn lawyer there is out there just to file a lawsuit for discrimination, and mental abuse! He's constantly being harrassed! In my lawsuit I would have it stated that he can't sleep at night and he's beginning to feel paranoid that he's being spyed on 24/7. Those people sure stood the hell quiet when his mother showed proof that it was a loan she took out under her name with NO help from anyone to buy that H2. Plus who in hell is going to tell me that my son CAN'T drive my car. They just ASSUMED it was a gift. Please spare me the bull___t! Since when is anything considered a gift from your MOTHER when she's been giving you everything since you've been born? They're just f__K__g with him because they know that he is naive to this kind of new game rules and policy since he isn't one of those "fortunate" kids that were born with everything. If they were trying to help him, they damn sure would've explained EVERYTHING to him so that he doesn't make any mistakes. And now he can't be forgiven for the "jersey" crap? And he gave them back at that! Yes he did give them back because it was in yesterdays news.

So I'm feeling you guys on this topic. Wish I knew that mom so that I could corrupt her mind a bit and get her to fight back for her son! She was mentally harrassed also with that H2 situation!

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's gonna appeal his ineligbility!! He should. He said that he would give back the jerseys!!! Let the kid back in OK!!:mad

ok....i of course agree that they are looking too much at lebron here and that it is not his fault he is being used and abused by those who say they are looking out for him, but lets look at that loan now...

his mother does not work, collects some form of government help financially and was able to take out a 50k loan for a hummer and it was from a company in los angeles known for their dealings with superstars...that to me was a much bigger issue than the jerseys but they let that go and said he would still be able to play...my point was that if they would overlook that, why make the jersey thing the reason for his dismissal?? his mom was wrong for doing whatever she did with those "friends" of the program so to speak, she got suckered in as well, i mean wait another 5 months and the kid has his already publicized 25 million dollar deal from the shoe company ya know?? that would have prevented everything here....he got caught in the middle of other peoples greed and badd decisions....

in the end he suffers from the things the adults do to him...great example huh??

let him play!!
