Latin Grammys

The LATIN GRAMMYS won't be on CBS because of poor ratings.Which sucks, that Latinos do not support their own, and specials like this, dissappear altogether.The Alma Awards, I'm unsure If that's still televised.But it is pathetic when we don't support our own.September is Latin History month and without specials, etc on major networks American whites/blacks see us all the same, like we just crossed the border from mexico.Specials, on major networks show diversity of our people.The My girl Jennifer Lopez will be there, which is one of the main reasons is why I will watch it.
It makes me think, is this why FREESTYLE music is not popular anymore, being mostly Latino??????Support Latinos in music, film,T.V, The arts-so people will understand that not all latinos are not the same, we all have a rich & beautiful history and should be recognized as great human beings, not people who clean or work out in the fields,but as people who work hard and deserve respect.

Frankie, there was also a major issue with sponsorship. Coca Cola which is a big player for the awards choose not to be a part this year...That hurts.....I feel you though......

I never watched the Latin Grammys but with George Lopez having a hit show on ABC I would think that network would be smart enough to carry it.

It is sad but its true Latinos reallly dotn support one another or celebrate each others milestones. I agree each one of our diversitys should be celbrated equally instead of being piled in together but thats what happens when people dont come together asking for it.

NOV 3 on Univision the Latin Grammys will be televised, will the major Latino stars show up?I hope my girl J.LO will since she has a new spanish cd coming out.This is a question that HISPANIC magazine talked about, will they show up??Since it's not on a major network?We will see next month.
