well u know that cool lucky star/prima donnna song? that's kinda new and tony plays it on the frenzy. But I haven't listened to the frenzy for maybe a week or 2, so i might also be "outdated" 🙂

I agree with you... but we're not trying to diss or whatever you thought we were doing. People just said that the song I thought was fairly new is actually not.
I, for once, like old stuff way better than new. That's why I got so excited about this song. It sounds so old school. 🙂
 
This is an arguement that stirs up on many websites. there are hardcore/diehard internet users that live on the net 24/7 and know every single song that is released and then there are the average joe and gina that rely on radio as a source of music. until a song hits radio it's underground and radio brings it to the mainstream. i started playing Ceres years ago with inside to outside and then a year ago played open your eyes aswell i played sweet tb but nobody really went crazy for those tracks. When i listed them on the year-end countdown at www.tonymonacoradio.com and were featured on the yearend countdown radio show on Z103 then people took notice. Still these tracks were on live to air and on the frenzee but now with 6-6 spins a day they are really blowing up. So if a person says they think a song is "NEW" lets not diss or attack them because not everybody listens to music in the same fashion. A majority of euro tracks we play are also a year or 2 old because they are not on major companys and don't get the instant push that rock/pop groups get.
