I meet them backstage at Beatstock this summer and i had their CD Hands Off. Gina took one look at it and was like "... Oh my God!!!! hide this!!!" jejejeje if any of you have seen that cd cover you know they look VERY different now. She gave me a promo pick of the 3 of them autographed so i would have something else to show instead of the album cover.

Last I heard, Laissez-Faire were signed to Pryme Tyme Records, but as well all know by now: Pryme Tyme is no longer with us...Anyway, they were supposed to change their name because Metro's Jerry Salerno wouldn't allow them to use the name "Laissez-Faire" on a different label (Metropolitan owns the name).
 
Laissez Faire is weird....First they were credited as "Maria Sharon and Lisa" (Look on the 12" of "After The Lovin"). Then they magically transformed into "Marlo Gina and Jennifer". I'm not sure if its still the same 3 girls, you guys who have seen them live recently would have a better idea then me. I remember back in '97 they were live in the Studio at KTU cause it was Geronimo's Birthday Party or something. I remember Marlo saying they were going to release a song called "Anything For You". But I guess it never was released or anything.
