I just saw a brief interview on Primer Impacto with La India and she looked great. I just wanted to give her new album, Latin Songbird, some recognition. Every track on that album is of superb quality and her voice sounds as great as it did when she released Llego La Inda via Eddie Palmieri. I have always been a dedicated fan of her music because she seems to get better and better each and every time and I don't have to think twice about purchasing her new material. I don't see India ever doing an Freestyle track ever again in her career, but I do hope she makes it a priority to include a House remix just as she did with "Sola". Better yet, keep on hooking up with her ex-husband Little Louie and give us some shit like "I Can't Get No Sleep".

I haven't seen her hooking with Louie for a long time and don't think their ever going to collaborate on a tune again. I am suspecting that she might break out into the anglo market in the future again.... : )

"Latin Song Bird" to me picked up the pieces to her 99 release "Sola". No dis to Sola. It was a great album. I guess I was expecting a better or equivalent performance as that of her "sobre el fuego" release which I wasnt able to find in "sola".

Latin Song Bird is her best cd to date. Definitely worth getting. It looks like she put alot of work in making this cd for us.

India has track on the recent MASTERS AT WORK album "Our Time Is Coming" entitled "Backfired" it is also available as an import single. Its a mellow house type track and the remixes dont do much for the track but the original is amazing!

she also has a song on the "Empire" soundtrack called "welcome to my empire" and there's a spanish version also on da soundtrack. it's kind of a soulful type track and her voice sounds great as always. i also agree that latin songbird is probably one of her best latin albums to date.
