the article basically states how the radio station has kept itself at the top of the game withouthaving to change it's format. Latest ratings for fall 2002 tied in fifth overall averaging 4.1% of the audience. it was third among 18-34year olds with 7.3% nad it was second among 25-54year olds with 5.1%. Last spring they were in 8th so they must be doing something right.lol or maybe it's all those phone calls you CFer's are making!..

I think that is really great. It is true that KTU has stayed true to it's format and I thank god that it hasnt turned into another Hip-hop station!! I was actually thinking about that this weekend...a lot of teenagers might not be interested in listening to the Classic Dance Weekend because they are not familiar with the music and they would rather be listening to Eminem and Jay-Z...but that doesnt stop KTU from doing those weekends on a regular basis. Let's all keep supporting KTU because whether we complain or not, they are basically the only station that plays our freestyle! (with the exception of Latino Mix 105.9)

That's great!!! Listener support is great!!! Here in DC, our stations change formats more than Pagent Queens change dresses!! They are show that a dance format can work!!! Yes clear channel already have a hip hop station in Power 105 and a Hottest Hits station in Z100. So let KTU do it's thing. Looks like many teeny boppers show love for Naya after all 😉.

there were about 2 or 3 dudes from ktu at my job doing some promotion i guess, playing music, having trivia with customers, and of course the freestyle lover that i am said"come on man play more freestyle "....whenever u get a chance to help freestyle jump at it, even if its a little request for more...lol
