You were only 3 weeks old,
You clawed onto me,
To warm yourself from the cold.
You looked up at me,
With eyes that were blue,
And I knew right then,
That I fell in love with you.
When I took you home,
You purred in my arms,
I knew I'd do anything,
To keep you safe from harm.
And now here you are,
Curled up in a deep sleep,
Two years have passed,
