Same thing with Freda, her new single is available in Europe at the moment. The label has to see if they want it to cross over.
 
hopefully people around the world will like kathy phillips's cd. but...

I think kathy phillips doesn't have the voice for freestyle, it's more of a euro voice I find.

strangely I like the original freestyle mix of "I wish" best!

Kathy's got the perfect voice for the style that she is going for at the moment. I heard one of the mixes off the Maxi single and the production is very fitting to her vocals. A harder freestyle, i like it.

She'll do well, and i like her next release as well.
 
It's always like this and it's sad...

Canadian artists always release there music to other countries before they release it here in Canada... It's just freakin' sad and I'm sick and tired of it

There are 2 ways to look at this.

First is that sometimes the artists talent isn't recognized at a local level, so they are forced to leave and make a name somewhere else..then come back here.

Second, in Kathy's Case, she did release the track here, and it was on Euro-Freestyle Invasion cd. Then Robbins picked it up and hatched a new interest in the track. So Toronto picked it up again.
 
As well, a limited edition cd single with 2 tracks (radio and extended) was mkade available last november.
