I have a friend. Him and I are pretty close as FRIENDS... nothing more than that. We have so much in common that we spend HOURS talking on the phone.. basically we talk to each other on the phone more than we do with our BF and GF...

So here's a thing... another day we went for coffee to one of our favourite dessert place and we started talking and joking like we always do... just enjoying each other's company...

then, all of a sudden he said: "I wish that this moment right now would last forever... I'm happy when I'm with you. I forget my problems, my worries, everything, and everyone. You make me see the world as a safe place. You make me believe that when you're in my life I can do anything.............." and more of that kind.......

It got me confused... I didnt understand where that came from. I thought we were just friends and no other feelings were shared between us... at least not from my side.

Does it seem that he likes me more than a friend? But then he has a GF about which he always tells me... I don't understand where that came from. I was shocked and at the same time my ears were burning because I was blushing so much... ALl i could say was "Thank you... you know I'm here for you... always."

Tell me what does it seem like to you? And what should I do next because I don't want anything but friendship with him... and especially I don't wnat to lose him or what we have.

WELL MY EX WHO IS NOW ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS CALLS ME ABOUT EVERYDAY ALL HOURS OF THE DAY. WE DIDNT WORK OUT AS FAR AS A RELATIONSHIP WENT I FOUND THAT WE WERE BETTER FRIENDS MORE THEN ANYTHING AND HE CALLS ME FOR EVEY LITTLE THING FOR ADVICE ON HIS MUSICAL CAREER HIS LOVE LIFE ALL HIS CHICKS ETC ITS LIKE HE DOESNT MAKE ANY MOVES UNTILL HE HAS SPOKEN TO ME AND HE HAS OFTEN TOLD ME THAT WITHOUT ME IN HIS LIFE HES INCOMPLETE THAT IM HIS BABYGIRL HIS BACK BONE AND THAT I HAVE THIS WAY OF JUST MAKING EVERYTHING BETTER THAT WHEN EVER HE TALKS ABOUT ME WHEN HE HEARS MY VOICE I JUST MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER ETC ETC. I KNOW THAT HE MEANS THAT JUST AS FRIENDS BECAUSE WE CAN TELL EACH OTHER ANYTHING I MEAN HE HAS HAD HIS UPS AND DOWNS AND I KNOW I HELPED HIM CHANGE HIS LIFE AROUND IN A LOT OF WAYS CUZ I HAVE NEVER BEEN AFRAID TO TELL HIM OUT FLAT WTF THE DEAL IS AND HE RESPECTS THAT. SO I WOULD SAY TAKE IT AS WORDS FROM A FRIEND WHO WILL ALWAYS WANT AND NEED YOU IN HIS LIFE NOTHING MORE SOMETIMES WE CAN CONFUSE THINGS FOR MORE TEHN WHAT THEY ARE AND I HAVE ALWAYS NOT TO WITH MY BOY BECAUSE WE KNOW EACH OTHER THAT WELL. I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF FRIENDSHIP YOU GUYS HAVE BUT FOR NOW UNTIL HE SAYS OTHERWISE TAKE IT ALL AS LOVE FROMA AWONDERFUL FRIEND 🙂
 
Well I hope for your sakes it is just really good friends! Because if not that's a whole lot of drama that will unfold!! I had very strong feelings for a very good friend and being around her(at the time) was great and I felt happy. In the end it got bad! Hopefully everything will turn out okay for you!!
 
Angie thank you hun... it seems that you and your friend and me and my friend have almost same kind of relationships (friendships) 🙂. I haven't spoken to him in a bit so no update, but for now this is all I'm taking it as... as a friend's love. But it sure feels great. Having such a hard day as I did today, but thinking about him makes it all better...

Sexy Chic......me and my homey dude are just like that!!! We talk on the phone EVERYDAY and I mean EVERYDAY! He tells me he loves to hear my voice, listen to my crazy tales, and just bug out with me, That I make his day complete. Without me he would be missing something.....I love it and I know he and I share a GREAT bond, a GREAT Friendship, and the he LOVES and Cherishes me for who I am.....HIS TRUE FRIEND.....HIS BACKBONE.....HIS HOMEY CHIC!!! 🙂

Well if it isn't then YOU need to be honest with him so NO ONE gets hurt......if friendship is as tight as you say it is then all will work out 🙂

Besides remember the BEST relationships come from the best of friends.....so if you're confused cuz you have feelings for him then maybe you need to think some more ma......sort out your feeling first before you do anything rash.
 
Honey i know how that feels when u just want that persons frienship and they want something more than that i hate that feeling, because when i sherish someone just as frien i just wanna keep them like that so sweetty try to be honest with him good luck and God bless....muaaa
 
I agree with Heavenly,this friend of yours may be seeing what you have as more than friendship so before it gets any further,he needs to know what your feeling for him isn't the same as to what he's feeling for you.

Heaven, I agree... but you know what I NEED to know that what he said was totally plutonic, and it'll make my life better. Because if it is indeed plutonic I don't want to mess it up by telling him that I don't feel for him in THAT way, you know what I mean? So I want to see how it goes tomorrow for lunch when we meet again. I'll try to bring it up, sort of like BY THE WAY , you know... so I'll see how he reacts and all.
