I wish I didn't see this because my promoonly c.d. for the monthn of April hasn't arrived to my house yet and it doesn't look like it's going to be that good. I saw that the Judy & Collage song was on there and thought maybe it would be all good after all. It would be nice if Devone, Planet soul, Corina, Jean, La Rissa, Li'l Suzy, crush (cibola remixes), and people like that would make more music. Jossette and Adriana really need to put an album out. Inoj has an album but when I found it I was no longer interested in buying it. What happened to Charm Farm? Energy? Dauby? Cynthia? New York City DJ's? where is Amber Rose? No Mercy? Acid Factor? M:G, Katalina? All these people need to come back! KromOzone Project, Mon A Q, Raheem, Kilo, Dj Taz, Jonny Z., Tito Puente Jr., D.J. Laz, Michelle Diaz......are you done? What about Science? "Masquerade" was well under rated. Underdog Project, "summerjam" received way less attention than it diserved! S.F. Spanish Fly, Booty Girls, Quick Pick, Pamp & Da Knox,.....Brissa and Alexis - Alexis especially needs to put out another album. I see that One Voice is back, but where is Pinay? All these people/artists: Victoria Angeles, Rockell, Emotion in Motion, Julissa, Daisy, steelo, Tribe, Kai, Kenny, Rey Guell, D&G Kore, Precious, Sam Savon, Ghosttown D.J.'s, Fun factory, Gillette, Sir Elegance, Dino Latino, DJ Tragic, Laura Martinez, Tora, Cisco, Mikaila, Nadine Renee, Craig David, So Solid Krew, DJ Luck & MC neat, and Jacqui Cenci if she will continue to make freestyle versions of her songs, should all come together by making albums, getting them promoted, and playing live at various store locations and visit radio stations and try to fight to make freestyle come back because if we don't do it now, another genre of music will soon take over. Disco had it's days. Rock had it's big moment. Pop came along and helped R&b and Hip Hop get to the top where it is now... Another genre will soon be taking over because by looking at the top 10, you can see people are running out of things to sing about and running out of making their own creativity. Like Madonna, Britney is beginning to change with the times so she may last. The only problem with Madonna is that she now wants to make freestyle sounding songs now that freestyle music has died down a lot and it doesn't seem to be working much for her based on how long songs from her previous albums lasted on the radio compared to her previous ones. Even Kylie Minogue is trying a more pop album this time around, and every hip hop artists that makes songs that resemble booty bass try to keep it 129 bpm or below (with exception to "slow jamz" collipark remix by Twista and Kanye West...). I appreciate what Johnny Budz and Al B. Rich are doing, but what happened to Cibola? We are now at the point where there is always at least one breakbeat/freestyle song in or near the top 10. B.T. was there for a while. before that Sterbinsky & Tranzident, and previously... Daniel Beddingfield and Gigi D 'Agostino. I think right now it may be Jocelyn Enriquez "why" revolution mix, but I'm not really sure because I can't base anything off an Arizona radio station playlist. There was once "I do both Jay & Jane", and I guess presently some people would accept "toxic" by Britney Spears to be the one current breakbeat/freestyle sounding song that's being played now. A lot of these artists may have been forgotten, and don't diserve to be forgotten. There are a whole lot of artists not mentioned here that diserve to be recognized, but nobody will really know who they are if I did post them. Nayja, Mandy C., Syreeta, Versatile, Karma Cloud, Ace 1, ...oh, these are just some of those artists. Some people may say that Versatile sounds kind of familiar - therefore it doesn't really count, I just put it in there to make you think for a moment!
_The least I can say for Judy Torres and Collage even if I happen not to like their new song that much is that they came back and did something that was recognized enough to be put on a promo dj only c.d. - and these promo dj c.d. companies only pick the best in dance music when it comes to choosing what they want d.j's to have and play. . ......
