Has anyone checked out Judy Torres "Greatest Hits" this album is tight,mad live and has great new school and all her old school hits from back in the day.This album is on a major lable BMG recoords and has the potential to blow up really big!American radio get ready here comes the beautiful queen of Latin hiphop soul Judy Torres!Judy is sooo talented,sexy,and hot so what if I am only 23 and she's too old to ant to date me we can dream can't we because miss Judy Torres is a diva!Great album!If you get anything purchase this CD folks!Two thumbs up!GOD Bless,Omar 🙂
 
wow - what cd did you get?? i heard many times that her "greatest hits" cd was horrible - very poorly produced. that's why im staying away from it.

lemme tell you, i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE judy torres, i go see her shows alll the time, but i must say this album is junk,,i cant even listen to it cuz it pis*es me off! Her voice sounds GREAT! no problems there, its the music/production thats a BIG MESS....since the producer (adam marano) did not want to pay for the origional music, they "reworkd" each track...LOVE STORY is prob the WORST track on the album cuz the music is WAYYY ahead of the Vocals....and NO REASON TO CRY is also all messed up...lol you try to sing along with it and juss cant! i love Judy, shes the queen in my opinion but id rather pull out the old cds versus this one...the only good thing i can say about this cd is you get the freestyle mixx to Back in your arms...
 
I quite like it. Worst is "Out Here On My Own".
That new track Irene Cara remake IMO.
Production is cheap, but still worth buying.
"Back In Your Arms" Freestyle Remix is better than
the version on DMA Freestyle Vol.2.
I still prefer House version but it's another good mix.
 
Allright I was just expressing my personal opinion.I really like the CD.I think the new mixes are absolutely awesome,sound fresh,new and high tech.Those of you think this album is not good then don't buy it.If you decided not to buy it then don't however if you liked what sounds like then by all means by it.This post was posted for Judy Torres fans who anticipated her new album on the major label BMG released nationwide.Most of the music I like artists like TKA,Aventura,George Lamond,Cyntia,Proyecto Uno,Marc Anthony,India,Latin Nation,Spanish Fly,Nyasia,Coro,Lisete Melendez and artists like that get very good responses from music audiences nationwide unfortunately one of my favorite artists Judy Torres was not recieved well with her new album.If you don't like it then don't buy it.If you like it please buy it and support freestyle music.GOD Bless,Omar 🙂
 
Ok. I got a question for you proyecto uno....how can we even dislike it if we havent even bought it yet? We dont know how it sounds like. and those who have bought the album cant get their refunds.

I think im gonna dl some songs on Kazaa before buying it.
 
Orgntr1 I know that there are usually alot of places online that you can listen to sample of albums and they are alot of record stores where you can preview the album in the store before you buy it.You also have the option to listen to the whole thing if you know someone who already owns the CD or if you download a few songs before you buy the CD.Always,Omar 🙂
 
I have to agree with Proyecto1! Great production by Adam Marano, great voice by Judy Torres - That´s it! 😉
 
her delivery was good, but the production was lil weak at certain points. the original version to "out here on my own" (the one on the white party cd) is off tha hook! however, i look forward to her nu single, which was also done by Adam Marano!
 
I wish people would stop bashing this CD! Okay, perhaps the productions aren't identical to the originals, but damn, it ain't that bad! Personally, I like the entire thing, I especially love the new production of "Back In Your Arms."
 
i got the cd a few months ago and was really dissapointed in the production. all my friends who heard it couldn't believe what they did to some of those songs, especially on "love story"-damn! i truly love judy, she is my girl but i thought they could have done a better job re-making these tracks.

All the tracks are remakes. Some of them are very close to the originals, some of them aren´t.
If you don´t like remakes, if you want the original versions - Just buy them!
But the new version of "Back In Your Arms" is great... And the whole record is enjoyable...
I wonder why some people are always thinking that remakes have to be 1:1 copies of the original songs.
 
--S.A.Y.---- no one is saying that the remakes are the problem, its the production....put on the CD and put on the Love Story track and try to sing along with it, and when you realize you can cuz the music and vocals are COMPLETELY off, then you'll know what im talking about..JUDY is the SHYYYYYYT , i just wish she woulda worked with people who cared for this cd, it just makes me think that no one listen to the cd to make sure it was ok before it was put out
