BEING OUT OF WORK IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. TODAY WAS MY FIRST DAY HOME. i need a job in my field of accouting, pronto!!

i feel like a loser.:sosad

i thought the F'EN job market was better but after talking to 2 of my recruiters they said it's picking up slowly. for the past 2 yrs they said it was awful.
 
oh god good luck aim on finding a job and your not a loser atleast your looking for a job more than i can say for some peeps who wont get off there lazy asses and look for a job...
 
Aim its hard girl. but dont worry youll find something... before my job now i worked at so many bullshit jobs, i was so depressed & i thought i would not find anything... but i kept on & now i LOVE my job... & im very happy.. just have faith girl... the best way is to keep faxing your resume...none of those stupid employment agencys work there all bullshit if u ask me....GOOD LUCK... your in Jerz right??? what area are u looking to work in?????
 
i do bookkeeping, collections, a/r, a/p, payroll and account analysis. before 9/11 i had no worries about finding work. heck there were so many jobs you didn't need a degree.


My boss wants me to stay but i need a FT position. this was only work study and my alloted hours for the semester ran out. I need to get back into a real work situation with real pay. It is nice to know i am appreciated and wanted.
 
aim i know what u are going thru was out of work for a year and my new job is not exacly secure until it goes permanant all i can say is keep positive buy the nyt
wall street journal do mass mailings of your resume to join professional organizations( good places to network ) look to hook up with temp agencies

there not all bad u just have to be agressive. it was an agency that hired me for my current job

Well peeps at my job they quittin as fast as they can shower...shiiii I'm not leaving my job no time soon- even tho my boss is like 30+ baby!
 
Aim sweetie, I was out of work between my last job and my current one, for two weeks. i thought I was gonna go crazy.

It gets better sweetie. you will be back in the workforce soon.

well i got a call from the recruiter for mercedes benz, another call from leafstone who is the recruiter for bluecross blue shield and i have an appointment this afternoon to be retested at a temp agency i used in 2001.

Hopefully by May 17, i'll be working or else i'll be tearing my hair out. lol.
