"Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will be soon husband and wife in the movie ‘El Cantante’, directed by Leon Icasho, which shooting is set to begin next month in New York City and Puerto Rico. This is funny. I had an idea for quite sometime to direct a movie that was going to be about the life of Hector Lavoe. I guess my other salsa idol beat me to it by a first round knockout. -Poetry In Motion

As much as I'm tired of Marc & Jennifer, I still have to show love to one of the most powerful voices in the history of Fania Records!

I'll see this film, because I have such an appreciation for music from La Isla y del Barrio.

I THINK the appreciation of his looks are varied depending on what kind of woman you are.

Anyway, I have predictions for Marc in this film. I think this will be the film that will mark his acting career.

BTW, i'm thinking he would do a fine job as Lavoe. A reindition of the song, "El Cantante" done by Marc would also be an awesome idea as well. I can actually picture him singing it. Let's see if he records this song for the soundtrack.

Actually many women were throwing themselves at his concerts in Mountain View, CA (Northern Bay Area) were alot of Puerto Ricans live.Marc was surprised by the huge response & love he was getting.
This film has been talked about for a couple of years.I'm glad, they will soon start production.It's about time my girl Jennifer Lopez gets an oscar nomination, if she wins this will be the 2nd Latina and 4 or 5th Puerto Rican to win an ocar award in Academy Awards history.Marc is an excellent actor as well, I know he will do a good job.

Actually, since around the time Marc broke off with Ms. Puerto Rico, Dayanara Torres in '02.
