I THINK THIS IS A GREAT IDEA AND I WOULD BE WILLING TO MAKE A VERY GENEROUS DONATION,BUT I THINK I NEED A LITTLE MORE INFO. WHAT WILL THE AD SAY? ARE YOU PROMOTING AN ARTIST OR A LABEL? WHAT ARE YOU SELLING? WHAT FREESTYLE REALLY NEEDS IS A BIG NAME LATIN ARTIST LIKE JLO, ENRIQUE OR SHAKIRA TO SHOW SOME SUPPORT. I SAW AN INTERVIEW WITH JENNIFER LOPEZ AND SHE STATED SHE "GREW UP LISTENING TO FREESTYLE". WHERE IS SHE NOW? INSTEAD OF PLACING AN AD SAYING "FREESTYLE IS COOL" WE SHOULD ALL WRITE LETTERS TO JLO AND ASK HER TO DO A DUET WITH CYNTHIA OR SAFIRE. WHAT DOES EVERYONE ELSE THINK?

Just my 2 cents...If these "big name artists" like Jennifer Lopez and others supported Freestyle like they say they do - they would be here at CF proving their devotion to our music!

They may claim they grew up listening to Freestyle, they may claim they support our music, but let's face it - TALK IS CHEAP!!!

Hi Vacman,

Well We are not taking out an ad that sells a product.
We are all chipping in to take an ad to promote Freestyle
as a whole. We will recruit our best writer - I will create
the ad. We will promote evryone who chips in - all web sites
and freestyle web communities to help to expose the music we love.

Here's a thought!!!

take the ad out in a magazine like Maxim, Stuff, FHM, Cosmo or Playboy!!!! NOT for any other reason than.. they carry some incredible ads for MAJOR products...ie. sketchers, candies, calvin Klein.... They are FAST growing magazines being published around the country & internationally. It's just a thought...
BUT an attractive ad... listing some of the hottest websites of Freestyle & performers,, CF..etc.

the ad could also contiue once you get here to CF... something on the CF site that says hey if you saw us in MAXIM click here... & then it goes in to a deeper explaination of freestyle, the performers, perhaps some samples... New & Old...

You know - that's not a bad idea.

Although I like the Billboard concept, focusing on advertising Freestyle to the music industry, a nice full-page color ad (complete with an wide array of beautiful, half naked women - covering every spectrum of the rainbow, all wearing thongs) in Maxim would fit perfectly in that publication. I'm sure many of Maxim's devoted reders are familiar with our music. This owuld be a wake-up to let them know that Freestyle is still around.

I know they mentioned "THERE GOES MY HEART" by Caprice in Maxim a few years back when the song was first released.

There is ALSO Blender Magazine.. which is a Music Maxim... put out by the same publisher that features the hottest of the music industry...
