Does anyone know the scoop on Legacy from Chicago? Last time I saw them they performed at the Riviera night club and then the next thing I heard they had a murder charge on them. I'm not sure if all three vatos where charged but I know that they did get into some trob.

My question is is this...Why do you care? It is not like they have a huge career in Freestyle music pending their release. They had 3 songs, 2 of which I thought were good (I didn't like STAY WITH ME TONIGHT), if they ever come of prison do you really think they are gonna run back into the studio to record 1 more Freestyle song...I seriously doubt it.

I spoke to a guy who said he lives next door to one of the members in Dulaio Twins, he said that they were not in jail, and never been. That's what he told me, I can't tell you if it's a reliable source. He said that he was gonna get me "Trouble Love" on 12inch from that member (I don't know their names) I haven't heard from that guy nomore.

no new chicago freestyle tracks have come out in a long time. its practially dead here, b96 no long promotes freestyle and i think labels like dj international and strickly hype have given up on it....only thing your find is mixtapes and cds.....
 
DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE WHAT ONE MIGHT BE UP TO-I BET YOU WILL BE HEARING SOME MUSIC FROM THEM SOONER THAN ONE MIGHT THINK....

Hey I seen Juanie from Legacy in Sept 2000 at the Annual Chicago Lowrider/Freestyle show. Anyways I got to meet him and got him on videotape singing "Girls Do It for Fun" and some of his new works (he's doing ghetto hip hop now). He goes by the name of J-Love. He preforms at a lot of those 18 & under ghetto clubs like CLUB ONE a.k.a the Logan Audortium (here in Chicago). I like his music and he's not ugly but his attitudes one of the reasons he never got any where (trust me some of my friends know him really good).

I live in Chicago guys, and you may not have heard of Energy 92.5/92.7. It is awesome. Of course they do play some freestyle but they need to play more current stuff. I have tried to get RandyGalaxy to talk to them to send them some new stuff, don't know if he has yet. I hope others will get on the bandwagon and do the same. They play alot of Euro, disco house, and some freestyle. They seem to love Rockell on the station. B96 sucks and their ratings have dropped tremendously since this new station came on. I am glad to see that since B96 is losing their listeners since they abandoned us and went to an R&B format
 
Energy 92.5? Is there a website? I'm hoping they stream their broadcast over the internet. Please provide info Roger...

not sure...they might still be producing house traxxs...their done with freestyle.....since legacy is no where to be found....and dzyre has moved on....they had some one hit wonders like joel,sandi castillo-sprecock
 
IT IS TRUE.EVERYONE EXEPT FOR J-LOVE IS IN JAIL.MURDER AND DRUG MONEY GOT THEM THERE.I AM REALATED TO ONE OF THEM AND UNFORTUNATELY,THEY WILL BE IN JAIL FOR A VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME.
