international per paid phones???

does any one know if and where i can get a per paid phone that will work while i'm in Colombia?
last time i took my phone my bill was sky high.. so i want a per paid where i can call home or they can call me..
can any one help me with this

I know in DR you can take a phone from here and just get a calling card from there. See what carriers they have down there and look into it.
 
i did that b4 but my bill came out so high cuz the fuked me over..
they said 17 cents a minute
but they charged 2.50 a minute..
so i don't want to do that any more.. i want a per paid that i can use to call from there 2 here..
iand from here 2 there
 
You can take a prepaid phone over there, BUT u cant call cell phone to cell phone... i dunno why.. :confused... but u can call from cellphone to house or house to cell phone.

In Colombia they dont have pre-paid cards. What u can od is take cards from here (Orbitel is good). and use them from over there. NOW, the trick is, when u use the cards over there, it doesnt give u the same amount of minutes as it does over here.
 
i have calling cards.. i use colombianita..
i've tried them all.. and that one is the 1 that works the best for me....
but i wanted 2 take a per paid cell to be able to get calls from home.. or make a call to my fam over there in colombia if i go see them..
 
Oh hell, if need be I'll give you my phone for a month. We have the same company yet they fuq you over but not me. I don't know...maybe I'm just special or something. :lol

lol i'm still not sure what i'll be doing.. i still have a few days 2 figure it out
but i need 2 take a phone to get in contact wit my fam
 
LOL I may be an ass, but at least I made ya laugh. And I know...you would looooove to either delete or reprogram a few numbers from lets just say the number 10. :lol

But hey, on the plus side, if I were to give you my phone, then you wouldn't have to worry about me going out and calling people and leaving messages along the lines of "I want you dead or alive" ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!! Or even better, getting a phone call the next day: "hey Meg, did you call me last night? I couldn't make out the message cause it was loud with the band in the background" Meanwhile the message was something that was said out of being frustrated over a situation. Anyway...I'm rambling here. Oh and then there's the infamous text messaging.....sure I'll stop by on my way home. :rolleyes Hell, take the dayum thing....it'll keep me out of trouble while you're gone since you won't be here to stop me.
 
pre pay phone in general are not going to work international maci...i suggest you check into pre pay you can purchase while in columbia i understand its cheaper for the equipment (phone) that way
 
you should be able to depending on the provider unfortunately i dont know much about the service providers in columbia
