Okay as you can tell, I have waaaaaay too much time on my hands if I can post as much as I've been. lol.....lol......🙂

I need work! I lost my job a year ago and have been unsuccessful in finding work. Sad! 🙁

I have my resume on hotjobs.com and others and it's just not working.

Any suggestions.......I'm looking for part time work because of my 4 year old son.

HELP MY CF FAMILY!!!!
 
AY MIJA I WISH YOU LUCK. MY HUBBY LOST HIS JOB ABOUT A YR AGO TOO AND HE STILL CAN'T FIND WORK. WHAT KIND OF PART TIME? WHAT DO YOU DO? I'LL LOOK AND SEE AT MY JOB TO SEE IF THEY HAVE SOMETHING.
 
Well I can understand where you are coming from only it hasn't been that long that I've been out of work. It's was only a month until I posted my resume on CareerBuilder.com I landed a Job at Nike Corp. So that might be a little helpful. Much Luck to ya ma.

I used to be an administrative assistant in the hospital. I worked for the same hospital 11 years. So anything that falls under the same umbrella of administration (even if I have to settle for less money). Clerical,secy, customer service, data entry, etc.

girl it's been that way for mostly everyone that lost a job. the things that is wrong with those career website, is that everyone and they mom is on there.

i feel your pain -

i've been there myself - i took a job back in jan that i really did not care for, but it really paid off with patience. i just got my 2 raise, my co-worker is one of the best people ive ever worked with and there's talk of making the both of us asst managers!

in other words, a step back sometimes works for the best.

I hear ya..I have been out of work a little over a yr now and nothing has been happening. Im going to an agency this week to see if they can help me out. Naya...I agree with u...so many people are out there looking! But keep the faith..something is bound to come up soon!

This is the worst year for eveybody,I know it is for me.I am on unemployment and looking for something that pays more than that.The Bay Area is the worst ever,every ones moving away or moving in together.Gov. Gray Davis does not have my vote!
 
I remember with my brother in law's business when it was really slow, he would hire kids to break windows in the neighborhood so he could get some work (he is a glass & mirror installer who did work for the club PALLADS when Big Al and JR ran it)
