Well....I'm not sure how many of you already know about it but the Import Jams CD will be out in just 4 days! WooHoo!! This will be my biggest release of tracks yet. Anyway...if you wanna check it out there are some sound clips on Amazon.com. They are really short clips, but at least you can get a little idea of what it sounds like right? You can also pre-order if you like what you hear!! Cool....lemme know what you all think. Thanks......Peace!!!

The last track on the CD...."Love Goes On" by Natalise (my remix) is gettin played on WILD 94.9!!
 
i don't know, too much trance and house on there. should have been called club jams instead of import jams. there needed to be some more freestyle and bass songs on there. i do like the first song by natalis though, love goes on, pretty cool song, m:g is great of course, but i've already heard that song, the one voice song was ok too.

Cool! I'm glad you like it! Thanks a ton man! Yeah...there is a lotta trance and house on there, it was never meant to be a freestyle album.....but we definetly wanted to throw some freestyle in the mix for all the freestyle heads! YOU KNOW!! :blah This CD has my 1st release as me being the artist, "Import Jams Theme" WOoHOo! I am an artist now! LOL! No longer JUST a producer! Hahaha....Well thanks for checkin it out at least....I always appreciate totally honest opinions! Don't worry I dont get my feelings hurt if you are brutally honest! As for the title of the CD, out here in the Bay Area trance gets a lotta play at import carshows......I dunno how it is on the east coast, but anyways........Peace.
 
well i been to car shows in Vallejo, Bay Area, Sacramento, Modesto, and i still hear alot of freestyle. i remember when freestyle was the only thing you would hear at car shows. i think one reason you don't hear it as much and are starting to hear more trance is because there wasn't much good new freestyle out when there were many trance releases. same as is happening in radio. back in the 90's on the west coast it was all freestyle, but there was also mostly freestyle on stations like Wild 94.9 bay area, Ksfm 102.5 sacramento, hot 105 modesto. now things have changed and people have been exposed to different dance music. i remember at the car shows many freestyle artists came to perform, like angelina, alvendia, m:g and others. now it slowed down. its time we change that again.

Mr.Linus I think you are a brilliant producer I hope and wish you much success with your album and I will be purchasing a copy for my self and the first time I ever heard your work was on the song "what u did to me" by Rockell and I love it your version is the best and I hope people go out and support you.
Your one of the few producers out there bringing us and creating good music.

I really hope you guys like the cd!! Cafreestyler I hear ya.....and I have to say that I like trance and freestyle, and house....so I personally would like to hear all of them if Im at a carshow. I am gonna be working on some new tacks with a freestyle vibe in the very near future here......so look out!! Ahhhh...yeaaaah!! Peace! 😀

Hopefully everyone will enjoy this one......Im reaaaally pumped up about it comin out in only.......2 days and counting! Yeaaaah! Im already working on some NEW freestyle type stuph as we speak because you all are makin me get pumped up!
 
The song by Natalise, "Love Goes On" is great. One of the hottest dance songs out right now. I mean radio should be playing this! Energy 92.7, Party 93.1, 95.3 Party, Party 105.3, KTU, 106.7 Jamz, Mega 93.3, where you guys at?
 
Yo thanks Brian....coming from a radio guy that I really appreciate it.....I sure do hope that the other radio people have the same feeling!! Im gonna do everything that I can to get as many people as I can to hear this thing..........we'll see what happens!! Anyone with a comment......lay it on me! Just to make things clear....I didn't produce everytrack on this CD......there were a few other producers that deserve lotsa credit too.......Chris Carter, Roland Casiquin Jr, and Michael Javier also produced the some of the new tracks. Of course there is Glen Gutierrez on the MG track and Jae-E & Bill Williams on the One Voice tracks. Also Pete Zavala, the other half of my group LPZ.....of course he helped out with the LPZ track. Anyway......the tracks that I produced are......2,3,6,8,11,13,and 14. I just wanted to make sure that everyone who helped doesnt think that I am tryin to take credit for everything you know? Welp......take care....Peace.

I'm completely brand new here, I just wanted to give a big huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been saying great things about the Import Jams CD... and ESPECIALLY to everyone who have been saying such great things about Natalise's "Love Goes On". It's really great to see such support and to know that the records you spend all that hard work on ultimately make other people enjoy life more. I produced "Love Goes On" for Natalise and I did the vocal production on Kaila Yu's "More And More" for this compilation. First time I ever met Lenny was working on Kaila's tune (that's his music, his lyrics... yada-yada). Lenny's really a great guy. He also did the breakbeat remix for Love Goes On.

Anyway, I just wanted to show my appreciation for all the comments people have made. And thanks also to everyone who has been calling in to stations like Wild 94.9 and other stations across the land and requesting Natalise; you've made a real difference. I've cut a lot of records and so has Lenny, but I think I can vouch for both of us when I say that this is definitely one of the most exciting. And I know that Natalise is fully aware of how much support everyone is giving her and she's seen some of the comments people have posted on this site and others and she is more appreciative than you can imagine.

So ultimately, I guess I'm getting a little philisophical here... but the creative people I worked directly with on this compilation... Lenny, Natalise, Kaila... these are some of the nicest music folks you will ever meet. And I met many of the other contributers and they are great folks too. So in my random babbling, I'm just saying that we are all real people and we all appreciate the support. Our music (hopefully) makes all you listeners happy, and in return, your comments make us music creators happy. I swear, it's that relationship that ultimately makes the world go 'round.

Okay, I've talked almost as much as Lenny does🙂 Actually, MORE! I'm one of the biggest babble offenders on the planet, I promise to keep my mouth shut from now on.

good songs...but one in particular

I bought the CD today, and I just want to say major props. I know it's been said a couple of times on this site in general, and I don't like to jump on the bandwagon, BUT "Love Goes On" IS a REALLY tight track. Does anyone know the story on Natalise?
 
Thanks for the props Phatmusic. I'll NEVER get sick of compliments on that song, so by all means, please, go ahead and jump on the bandwagon 🙂 Natalise is a gir... *ahem*... "young lady" (don't want to get into any trouble with her) from the San Francisco Bay Area. This is her first single and she's absolutely thrilled. First time she heard the song on the radio she screamed and jumped up and down for ten minutes straight.
