I GOT UP EARLY TODAY, WENT SHOPPING FOR THE FINISHING TOUCHES TO MY KID ST.VALENTINES DAY GIFT. MY TWO OLDER GOT COLOGN AND PERFUME AND MY LIL MAN GOT EVERY CHARACTER UNDERWEAR I COULD FIND. I GOT THEM VALENTINE BAGS AND CHOCALATE HEART. I GET HOME AND I GET A CALL FROM THEIR IDIOT FATHER THAT THEY DONT WANT TO COME HOME, THEY PREFER TO STAY WITH HIM. HE HAS BEEN WATCHING THEM DURING THE DAY WHILE I WORK FOR THE LAST 3MTHS AND I SWEAR I FEEL LIKE HE IS TAKING THEM AWAY FROM ME. I ONLY SEE THEM AT NITE AND EVERY OTHER WEEKEND AND THIS WAS MY WEEKEND. I DONT KNOW IF ITS STUPID FOR ME TO FEEL THIS WAY B/C HE IS THEIR DAD AND I SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT HE GIVES A SHIT ( WHICH I DO) BUT DAMN THIS REALLY HURTS.

Girl I feel you...When mine are with "The DOner" I hate when they want to stay. He doesnt look for them often. I hate sharing them. But i know they will always come home. It can be heartbreaking. But Kids always come back to MOM!

Mama dont feel bad you takingit to heart cause of all the other stuff going on in your life right now and you feel lonely but you know they luv htere mama and it is great that there daddy is there for them spending that time with them and helping you out mama no te sientas mal remember they have know idea what you going through so to them its just fun with daddy not knowing mama had some fun planned for them too call me I will be hom with my lil Valentine date 😀

Ahhhhh Mama, don't feel bad. You have the kids all the time and when they're finally with their dad, it's a different environment, different routine. It's fun for them. Don't take it personal. They love you. 🙂

oh mamacita bella......I'm sorry you felt that way. I was heartbroken tonight too, but I did have my kids here. I was crying last night non-stop and my son came into the room to lay w/ me and asked what was wrong. Of course I said nothing and he said to me "I know you're crying b/c of papi." He asked me if he broke my heart and I said yes, and he said to me "don't worry mami, I will never break your heart. I will love him less b/c of what he did to you, no one will ever break your heart when I'm around. and if they do I will hurt them." it's amazing how much a 4 yr old knows....but I told him not to feel that way and that b/c of him I feel so much better and I stopped crying. He surely made my Valentine's day.

YEAH THOSE LIL INGRATES ARE HM AND THEY CAME HOME WITH GIFTS AND PROMISES. MATTHEW SAYS HE WILL KEEP HIS ROOM CLEAN(YEAH RIGHT) AND AMY TOLD ME THAT SHE IS GOING TO GET RICH ONE DAY AND HIRE ME A MAID SO I DONT HAVE TO WORK SO HARD. :lol

I gotta throw in on this cause I am divorced and am the daddy of a 3 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. I have them Friday night to Sunday afternoon every other weekend and I take them to see my Mom and what not back in Miami once in a while.

I know the hurt you mentioned. What gets me by is when I realize they have a choice between two good parents who love them dearly! A choice many kids never get to make! It doesn't stop the hurt but everyone who posted here is right this will come back around on both ends many times over. I saw it with my 15 year old boy as well. Boys will always love they guy time they have with their pops, but nothing will ever be better than the love they get from Moms!!!!


You know I must feel strong about this cause I'm a Dad and I call my kids almost every night to talk with them and tell them I love them and miss them and they are 3 and 4.
 
Thanks For Understanding Canesfan, I Def Understand Where Ur Coming From. I Try So Hard To Keep The Negativity Away From Them And For Most Part Me And Him Are Good Friends But I Guess It Was The Nonsense That Im Going Through Right Now.

LMG, honestly, your kids act that way because they are secure with both of your love for them. (like canesfan is saying).

You and their father have a good relationship and that gives your kids such a strong foundation to build off of. I know none of this actually helps because the bottom line is, you are upset they wanted to stay there instead of going home to you, but it is only Valentine's Day. It's not like it's Christmas or something. 😉

God bless them that they have two great parents that love them.

Now a days, that's hard to come by.
