Name of this late 80's dance song?
Hi,
Wow, what a site! I could live here! I heard a dance song once on the radio that I liked but never heard it again. It was not popular for very long (there seemed to be a lot of dance songs at the time). It was a girl singer with that typical girly dance song voice (e.g. Cover Girls, Lil Suzy). It was a little more modern though like what you'd find on an M.C. Mario CD (e.g. Corona or Real McCoy).
I only remember the lyrics from the chorus (they are a little cheesy mind you), which were something like:
I'm not gonna let you in my pants
I'm just looking for romance
OR
I'm not gonna let you in my pants
All I wanna do is dance
I remember hearing a name like Pobee for one of the artist's in the mix of songs I heard (including the one above) but this artist might be for one of the other songs.
Any help would be hugely appreciated!!!
HP
PS: Anyone know why there are no Platinum Blonde entries in the top 40 lists on this site? They had several top 40 songs here in Canada (It Doesn't Really Matter, Not In Love, Crying Over You, Situation Critical)...
