Why did I just take a phone call for my supervisor, who is out on a business call.

the caller wanted to know when he would be back. I stated that "Mr. so&so" didn't give me that information.

His reply was "well, tell "Mr. so&so" that when he leaves, he should give an estimated return time."

I wanted to say to him, "and who do you think I am that I have the right to question my supervisor that way????'

I deal with this all the time. Especially since the BIG BOSS is almost NEVER in the office. When people call they ask...do you know when he'll be in and I'll be like No sir...he didn't say when he'd be in and then they go on some well why didn't he tell you that or why didn't you ask? And I just sit there and laugh to myself. Whatever! :rolleyes

I almost want to say...cuz he don't wanna talk to yo azz! 😀
