I would have to say that you would have to have some legends there, whoever you pick, plus some new freestyle singers. You need to mixx it up & not just have all old sxchool artists & nobody knows all the new school artists. So to give recognition to the new artists have them perform with the oldschool ones.

As far as where would you have it at.............any city that loves Freestyle: Chicago, NYC, Philly, Detroit, Bay Area SF/SJ, San ANtonio, Austin, Dallas, Miami.

its cool to have the new schoolers represent. i'm all for it. but remember, the only people who would have an interest in them are us underground fans. and do you think there would be enough of us to fill a 2000-5000 venue? noooooo. poor mr. albatello lost some hair last year trying to fill exit with the most POPULAR artists. he got 2000 walk ups that night. if not the night would of been a bust. i saw it happen at exit last year...when a lesser known act came on, everybody started walking to the bathroom and shit.

now i know what u saying...'well thats why we have the popular artists too'..considering that only 20% (IF THAT) will know the lesser known acts, what will the other 80% be doin. they'll be bitching for Coro or cynthia to come on stage.

bottom line..if u want a successful freestyle show u gotta have the popular acts with just a FEW lesser known. not 50-50 old and new.

makeyadance...i wanna see how many people in detroit show up for a freestyle show ! lol
