Have any of you seen the new MTV documentary called I Want A Famous Face? I its sick! The show documents people, mostly teenagers and 20-somethings who elect to have surgery in order to look like a celebrity. Last night they had on these 2 twin brothers who both wanted to look like Brad Pitt. Granted, they werent that great looking and wanted to have the surgery to boost their confidence. I could understand them wanting to have nose jobs, because that is fairly common. However they also had cheek and chin implants, and put porcelain veneers on their teeth. They also got makeovers. They both want to be actors. Ok, they looked much better after the surgery but they certainly didnt look like Brad Pitt! I just think this is a sick phenomenon. Why cant people just be themselves?? We all would like to look like beautiful celebrities, but to go so far as to have plastic surgery to look like them is just crazy!

I just feel sorry for them.......some people just don't NUB themselves and that is sooo sad.
 
I saw the show and your are right they dont look anything like Bratt Pitt. They are too far from that. I think next week is some girl who wants to look like britney and i saw the commercial for some girl who wants to look like pamela anderson & 1 guy who wants to look like elvis. This rich kids wasting their $$$ on this stupid things. :lame
 
I saw that shiat last week or maybe it was early this week, well anyways i'm sorry, but them mofo's really needed something done. Don't mean to offend anyone but i'm just being honest. After the surgery they weren't all that, and they were definitly no brad pitt, but they looked a lot better. And unfortunately that's what makes people confident and happy, what other people think about them and their looks. I'm all for plastic surgery, to each his own and if it makes you happy, than go for it.
 
Psycho...I agree with you...in a way. Many people get plastic surgery these days to boost their confidence...take the show Extreme Makeover for example. However, its the fact that they want to make themselves look like a famous person that's freaky. Dont they realize that some of those celebrities are really all that to begin with?? We would all look better of we had people doing our hair and makeup for us all the time. They dont all get out of bed every morning looking so fabulous! If people want to fic their noses or teeth to look better and have more confidence, all the power to them. But they dont have to make themsevles look like a celeb.
