I miss those days of hearing my follow latino brothers and sisters cranking out hit after hit on the radio! Seeing them on stage pouring their hearts and soul into the music they sang to the hundreds and hundreds of fans in the audience. What a proud moment it was for me!

How I looked up to them and thought to myself what great role models for our latino youths - positive music, nothing degrading about this new genre of music that was being created and spreading throughout the world.

How exciting it was to see these same people that I just saw in a club the night before or on the cover of a magazine, in a music video or making a guest appearance on a tv show.

I really miss those days and I am very proud to have experience it first hand. I give credit to myself for saving all of my freestyle memorablia, videos, tv appearences, flyers, music magazines, pictures, singles,etc.. and I still continue to collect till this day. Ever so often I take a look at my collection and get a bit sentimental.

It was a very exciting time for so many. I want to thank the pioneers of freestyle , TKA, JUDY TORRES, CYNTHIA, GEORGE LAMOND, NAYOBE, COVER GIRLS, EXPOSE, SWEET SENSATION, and of course, my all time favorite, SAFIRE.

Despite all the rough times you have gone through, I hope you realize how happy you have made your fans. We thank you.

Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. I know the nature of the business isn't always pleasant, But you guys stuck it out and I am so happy you did. You have provided lasting memories for so many, many fans.

If I could turn back the hands of time, I would, only for you and the music.

Hey Muzik wassup!
I miss it too. This music brings back so many memories of growing up. Listening to the radio with my cousins, going to Rye Playland over the summer, school dances, basketball games, etc. It also reminds me of people who were once around that aren't anymore. When I put on a freestyle track, it's definitely time to reminisce! I luv the beats and edits too lol

Big fan of ALL the artists u mentioned!

Hey guys! Just like you all, I miss that, too. Inspired by the relics of freestyle's past pioneers, I did it! Being that of a sales associate working in an electronics store for the naval base, I played freestyle music for the first time on the Bose 3-2-1 system. Many wondered if I was jamming to a new radio station. But in reality, that was just a compilation of freestyle CDs. As a matter of fact, I bumped into a CF member by the moniker - FREESTYLERULES. I think that's what he said he was and hoping I am correct with that. A lot of people requested for me to keep playing the tunes because many have missed it in so long since them good old days. Though it's the good old days now, freestyle isn't dead. It still lives within the people who still have the passion to listen to it - always and forever. Mad props go out to K7, TKA, George LaMond, Sa-Fire, Judy Torres, Cynthia, Johnny O, Stevie B, and all the freestyle pioneers I can't name to end this entry. But you all know who you are. Keep the love of freestyle alive!

psst ... I even snuck in some freestyle music videos to be played on 3 TV sets at my workplace, too. My supervisor loved it since he's into this genre too. He told me to make him a copy.
